"Notions of fairness " are embedded in the hearts of man not dictated by a President who is tougher on conservative talk radio than Iran's totalitarian regime. The President thinks the "nanny state" philosophy keeps us safe, instead of enacting tough anti-Islamic terrorist policies or accepting strategically placed defense missile shields, invoking the "keeping us safe" faux pax only makes Obama look foolish, and indeed makes us less safe.
So the President is way off base when he suggests that Arizonans are acting on misguided notions rather than an affirmation of need. Obama needs to stop living in la-la land, and God willing recognize that Americans are deathly afraid of Islamic terrorists, not so afraid of the so-called anti-immigrant.
It is not the job of the President to distort a law that has been enacted freely, legally, and by will of the people of Arizona. The President ought to be concerned with protecting America from Islamic terrorists, not attacking well-meaning citizens who redress their own government to follow the law. Wake Up Already Mr. President!
